What is Magnesium?

Magnesium is very important in the conduction of electrical impulses of the muscles and nerves. Like calcium, it is found in bones and is necessary to maintain and build healthy bones. Magnesium plays an important part in bone growth and helps prevent tooth decay by holding calcium in tooth enamel. It is also involved with energy formation and is needed to maintain healthy blood vessels.
