Week 2 Challenge TV free

At the beginning of the month, I got fed up with the kids sneaking away to watch TV and not respecting my request asking them to turn it off and come to the table for dinner, or go wherever we needed to go.  So, I have put them on a TV/computer/DS detox for a month.  So, for my second challenge I decided to give up TV for a week.  

 

Now, I'm not a big TV person.  There are a couple of shows I enjoy watching, but if I miss them, it doesn't bother me.  My husband enjoys watching TV to unwind.  I've been sitting down more lately to relax and spend time with him.  We've stayed up late watching stupid shows, that weren't really worth it to stay up and watch.  It is because of this that I have decided to give up TV for a week.

 

Now, I haven't taken on giving up the computer for a week, because since a lot of my work is on the computer.  I do have some vacation time coming up and will gladly give up my computer then, so I CAN do that.  In previous years, I may not have been able to give it up, but now I see that there isn't anything that can't wait for one more week.
