Getting Kids to Try New Foods
July 21 2009 | Motherhood
This summer I'm encouraging my kids to try new foods. My older son is more open to trying new things, but my younger son is quite reluctant.
I took them to the library to pick out some children's cookbooks and find some recipes they want to try. My older son was good and looked through some different books and chose three to sign out.
My younger son became entranced with the many yummy desserts he saw. It's funny how he has no trouble trying a new type of cookie! I've managed to urge him a long and he's picked breaded chicken drumsticks for dinner tonight. He's very excited about making dinner. Overall, I can see he will need a little more encouragement, but I have faith!
